Through these eyes, the ocean is an amazing, beautiful, and overwhelmingly scary thing. I have always taken in an ocean of brown dotted with sage brush and mountains peaked with white snow in July, but this is something my eyes are learning for the first time. And I am looking forward to it completely.

Aaaah...north island beach. I miss that view. David's band building is right next door to the Navy Lodge at North Island. What a great place, and SOOOO much to do with kids. Get a yearly membership at the San Diego Zoo, it's COMPLETELY worth it. Sea World, Del Mar Fairgrounds at 4th of July! We may just try to get back there someday. Where are you living? We lived in Bayview Hills, and loved it, and the ward there ROCKS. Have fun!

I've never been to San Diego before. It looks gorgeous! Kevin would be so jealous. I hope you enjoy living there. Everyone I know how has lived there loves it.
